Almost 5 years- since my sewing awakening began, I’ve been collecting textiles from thrift stores, the streets, friends, and etsy sellers. Testing new techniques with dyeing and bleaching, creating patterns, and designing to enhance my process and creativity. The main focus- upcycling, reusing old garments I don’t feel fit into my life in their existing form. You don’t need to over consume to create.
